watashi no imouto wa, daietto o shita node totemo yasete imasu. yasesugi kamo shiremasen.

as for my younger sister - diet - did - therefore - very - is skinny - too thin - perhaps

Because my younger sister went on a diet, she is very thin. I think she is too thin.

1. kinou wa, nani o shimashita ka?
2. hon o yondari hirune o shitari shimashita.

as for yesterday, what - did?

book - (direct object marker) - things like reading - nap - (direct object marker) - things like doing (nap) - did

1. What did you do yesterday?
2. I did things like reading a book and taking a nap and so on.

A. kyou wa samui desu ne.

B. sou desu ne. kinou mo samukatta desu.

as for today, cold-is-don't you think?

like that-isn't it. yesterday-also-was cold

A. It is cold, isn’t it?

B. Yes, it is. It was cold yesterday also.
